You may find yourself to be a watch collector with enough watches to wear a different one every day of the week; however, for a lot of people, sticking to a classic Casio or Apple watch will do!
For many people, footwear can make or break an outfit, so building a classic capsule collection of footwear can help. Do some research into what shoes work best within your style.
For example, if you like a smarter look, you may opt for some loafers; however, if you prefer to keep it relaxed in a pair of jeans and a tee, then going for some Nike Air Force might be more suitable. One ‘capsule wardrobe’ rule to follow regarding shoes is the colourway.

Formal does not mean you cannot add colour and casual does not mean you cannot add classic to your list of go to accessories. Having a wide range of styles in your wardrobe is going to give you choice that will suit any and all occasions.
